Funding supports the development of educational programming and wellness workshops, along with the necessary infrastructure to ensure these programs can be delivered effectively to the community.
2025 | Recharge and Parent Support Initaitive
In collaboration with Elk Lake School District and Pathway to Peace & Wellness, this project enhances student mental health and emotional regulation through both school-based and community-based interventions.
2025 / Dentistry Initative
Funding supported the purchase of equipment needed to outfit operatories.

Funding supported the purchase of medical equipment and supplies to benefit healthcare partners, their patients, residents, and organizations utilizing WCHC for healthcare access, education, and broadband services.

2024 | Covid 19 ARPA Capital Projects Fund Multi-Purpose Community Facilities Program
Funding supported the creation of a public computer lab and free access to broadband at WCHC and provided for general repairs and infrastructure upgrades, enhancing the facility’s capacity to expand healthcare accessibility, offer educational and employment resources, and promote preventive health practices for Wyoming County residents.

2025 | Keystone Communities Initiatives
Funding supported upgrades to the second floor of WCHC, preparing it for healthcare tenants by replacing older flooring materials with modern, durable options and installing energy-efficient windows to improve comfort, efficiency, and sustainability.

2024 | Neighborhood Assistance Program
This project advances healthcare access by renovating the former Tyler Memorial Hospital into a centralized hub for healthcare providers offering primary and specialty care. It also expands digital access through free Wi-Fi and computer resources, enhances educational opportunities, and fosters economic growth through job creation and training.

Funding enabled partnerships with local schools and organizations to create:

A two-year program for TASD K–2 students integrating hands-on agriculture, STEM-based learning, technology, and wellness education.

A TASD co-op program giving high school students job training experience as they supervise the computer room at WCHC.

A dual enrollment program with Lackawanna College for high school students pursuing healthcare careers.

Career development opportunities for K–12 students in partnership with local organizations.

Wyoming County Community Health Foundation
2024 | Mindful Miles
This program addresses critical healthcare needs among young students, particularly in mental health, physical health, and social-emotional learning. Mindful Miles equips students with tools to manage stress and anxiety while encouraging healthy, active lifestyles.
2025 | Speaker Series
A free educational program offering expert-led sessions on important health and wellness topics, designed to inform, empower, and support the well-being of Wyoming County residents.

Helped make the WCHC Open House possible, where more than 500 residents toured the remodeled facility and connected with healthcare providers and community resources.
Weis Markets
Supported the WCHC Open House and funded activities for the Mindful Miles youth wellness program, giving children tools for healthy living and stress management.

Provided branded materials for the WCHC Open House and Community Wellness Fair, reaching hundreds of families with health education and screenings.
