Initiatives
Through strategic partnerships, we are poised to expand services to new heights.
Our commitment not only enhances health services, but also strengthens family support networks and creates employment opportunities, aligning with our vision for a thriving and interconnected community.
01
Accessible Healthcare
We are establishing a centralized hub for healthcare agencies to collaborate and expand their services. By leveraging the resources and expertise of WCHC and its partner agencies, our goal is to improve healthcare accessibility and effectiveness. Through this collaborative effort, we anticipate achieving better health outcomes for residents across the region. By optimizing efficiency and minimizing unnecessary expenses, we aim for our partners to offer services at competitive rates. Our dedication to affordability ensures that individuals and families can access the care they need without undue financial burden, fostering better health outcomes and overall well-being within our community.
02
Job Creation
By providing a centralized hub for healthcare agencies to operate and expand their services, we are fostering a vibrant network that supports local employment opportunities and stimulates economic growth. The presence of healthcare providers within our facility generates a diverse array of job opportunities spanning healthcare administration, clinical services, support staff, and ancillary services. These employment opportunities not only provide meaningful career pathways for residents but also contribute to the overall prosperity of the community. As individuals secure employment within healthcare agencies operating within our facility, they not only gain access to stable employment but also contribute to the vitality of the local economy through their spending power and tax contributions.
03
Broadband Access
Our facility will provide free broadband and computer access to underprivileged populations, operating for a minimum of 40 hours per week. By dedicating space for public access to broadband services and computers, residents will be able to conduct telehealth appointments and broadened access to educational and employment opportunities. Additional free access to broadband services will be available in waiting room areas as well as in the café lounge for residents who have their own devices. This initiative is designed to enrich the lives of community members by bridging the digital divide.
04
Education
We are collaborating with local organizations and businesses to offer outreach programs that promote preventive health practices, provide assistance with common life challenges, and facilitate skills development. These programs encompass a wide range of topics such as health screenings, nutrition, employment assistance, taxes, support groups, and job training. In addition to these offerings, WCHC will provide dedicated classroom space and access to free broadband services to facilitate educational workshops and training sessions. Our approach involves a combination of in-person and virtual meetings to maximize accessibility and engagement. Through these collaborative efforts, we strive to empower individuals and enhance their quality of life.
