Open to the public
Wyoming County Healthcare Center will host a free community workshop with the Northeast Regional Cancer Institute on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 to help residents understand what cancer screenings they may need and how to navigate the process—especially if cost, insurance, transportation, or paperwork has been a barrier. The Northeast Regional Cancer Institute is a local nonprofit serving Northeastern Pennsylvania with education, prevention, and support services. Their Community-Based Cancer Screening Navigation Program helps eligible residents access recommended screenings when barriers make it hard to follow through.
