Community Wellness Fair

The Wyoming County Healthcare Center (WCHC) is hosting a Community Wellness Fair on Thursday, August 7, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at 5950 US-6 in Tunkhannock—and you're invited!

This free, outdoor event is designed for the whole family and will showcase the many wellness and safety resources available right here in our community. Attendees can enjoy games, giveaways, and food from Greenley’s BBQ, while also connecting with healthcare providers and learning practical tips to support everyday well-being.

Free screenings and information will be available, including:

• Blood pressure

• Diabetes risk

• Dental health

• Car seat and helmet safety

• Immunization guidance

• 911 and emergency preparedness

•  ...and much more.

But this event is about more than just one day. It's a chance to discover the growing number of services available year-round at WCHC—from walk-in care and diagnostic testing to mental health services and outreach programs.

Your participation matters. The more residents use the services offered at WCHC, the more we can expand—including bringing back care options once lost to the community. Every visit, question, and conversation helps shape what’s next for healthcare in Wyoming County.
