Meets the 2nd Wednesday of each month
Healing takes many forms—and you don’t have to walk the journey alone.
The Cancer & Healing Support Group at Wyoming County Healthcare Center offers a supportive, welcoming space for patients, survivors, caregivers, and loved ones affected by cancer.
We meet on the second Wednesday of each month at 5 PM at the Center. Each session provides time for connection, reflection, and wellness-focused activities that support emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being.
Past group activities have included:
🎶 Sound bowl therapy to promote relaxation and reduce stress
🪑 Chair yoga for gentle movement and body awareness
🎨 Art-based projects for creative expression and emotional release
🧘 Guided meditation and mindfulness to foster inner calm
✨ December Highlight: Our next session will focus on nutrition and healing with special guest Donna LaBar, who will share practical tips and insights on how food can support your body during and after cancer treatment.
👉 Registration is encouraged so we can prepare materials as needed: https://bit.ly/CancerandHealing
There is no cost to attend, and all are welcome—whether you're in treatment, in recovery, or supporting someone through their journey.
This program is proudly sponsored by The Guthrie Clinic.
